What a beautiful, intimate wedding this was at the Church By The Side Of The Road. We met Jason and Rachel over a year ago and they are such an easy-going couple, which worked out realllllly well considering we had to take a couple detours!
This was a really hot day (it seems like all our summer weddings have happened to be on the hottest days) and of course, we feel so bad having the bridal party hiking around in the heat. So we scouted out a nice little shady (in a good way) park for pictures right down the street, but there happened to be a wedding going on by the time we got there. Then, we drove to the stables at The Ledges because the groom had a great idea of doing pictures there, but they had an event going on. So, finally, we headed back in the direction of the reception and landed at Rock Cut. Needless to say, the bridal party spent half the day hiking in the heat - but the other half of it riding around in an air-conditioned minivan. #silverlining
