What a perfect fall night for this beautiful engagement session. We met Justin and Whitney at his grandma's farm - we really love when our couples pick a location that has personal meaning for them. Collective "awe."

Oh where do we start with Joe + Marie's beautiful fall wedding?? The day started with the girls prepping at Maxwell Mansion in Lake Geneva, WI and ended with a ceremony and reception at Starline Factory in Harvard, IL (one of our personal favorite venues).

I don't know where to begin with Luke and Britta's wedding. We were so fortunate to shoot this absolutely perfect day with perfect weather and a perfect couple. And yea, I'm gonna keep saying perfect. Not only was it a September wedding, which is our favorite month because all the light is gorgeous and no one is sweating or freezing, but the entire day was full of unique elements that made us very excited. And that's the most important thing on anyone's wedding day: that we are excited.

Listen. This blog isn't about me...but it's going to be about me for like three seconds. When I was growing up, I watched Father of the Bride with my dad every other weekend - rotated, obviously, with What About Bob. I always wanted my wedding to be just like that, minus my dad losing his mind and getting thrown in the slammer over hot dog buns. Needless to say, this wedding is as close as you could probably get. It was classic, gorgeous, full of sentimental touches, and I loved every minute of it. And I might have lived vicariously through it. No big deal.

Oh stop it, you guys. We knew back when we did their engagement shoot that Jeff + Courtney's wedding was going to be fun, carefree, and beautiful! They are such a relaxed and cute couple - who just really wanted this to be a fun, enjoyable day. And mission accomplished. They had all the ingredients for perfection - gorgeous weather, a fantastic bridal party, and a stress free attitude. Amen. We had such a good time with them, and it was a total honor to be there. I have to give some shout outs to the bridal party - they were so helpful and up for anything. I even had some bridesmaids come up to me at the end of the night, as we're leaving, and say, "Brit, even though we're kind of a hot mess right now, we can pull it together for you if you need any more photos."
