Oh Chad and Sarah.
Once a year, it seems that the universe feels I need a gentle reminder of how fortunate I am to have air conditioning. Chad and Sarah's wedding was that day. Holy hotness. Fortunately, photographers are used to being the only rough-looking, sweaty, basically dressed people in a sea of gorgeous wedding guests - but I felt pretty bad for the bridal party in their heavy suits and dresses. Before I get to these off the charts photos of Drew and Val's wedding on the dock in Fish Creek, Wisconsin - I need to give you some background info. Not to make this wedding post about me, but this story is important. And yes, it involves me. So yes, I did just make this wedding post about me. The bride in question (Valerie) and I met years ago on the blogosphere. I'm way behind on blogging this beautiful engagement at Sinnissippi Gardens - but that's the way of wedding season! I was so excited when Emily contacted me about photographing their wedding - we had worked together years ago. She was the blonde counterpart to the long hair club. Population: me and her. I always love to see people I know end up all happily ever after. Pffft. That was mushy, sorry. After doing this engagement session, we can't wait for August! Such a laid back, fun, and hilarious couple. And those eyes just don't quit. #jelly
