One of the first questions we get asked by our brides is how long do things take? Here is a good idea of what photos are generally done on a wedding day and their approximate time frames. Keep in mind, each wedding is different. For example, if you have done alot of DIY details and put a ton of work into handmade things, we will definitely take extra time doing the "details" shots to guarantee we capture all of your hard work!
These are listed in the order we generally do them.
RECEPTION DETAILS: table settings, place cards, centerpieces, cake, favors, guest books, etc. This is usually the first thing we do on the wedding day as these need to be taken before any guests arrive. It is best to have the reception area set up as early as possible so we can do this before the ceremony. So if the ceremony and reception are far apart, we have to account for travel time as well.
