Ohhhhhhh San Diego. Ohhhhh these two. I could tell a really, really long saga right now but I'll try to keep it short. Round about 2005, I met Chad through mutual friends. Since then, we were sort of joined at the hip for many tumultuous years of our twenties. I'll spare you the pictures because I like to keep this blog classy. Actually, Chad was the first person I ever "took pictures of" - back when all I had was a bulky, 1970s polaroid camera. Some years later, he met the love of his life, Melissa, out in California and now that's where they reside with their three beautiful children. My husband and I miss them terribly!
For their five year anniversary, they decided to renew their vows in an orange grove in Escondido. They asked yours truly to fly out to California and snap some photos. It was a great trip except I only wish I could have had more time with them!
This is the portrait session that we did the night before the vow renewal. Go here for the vow renewal pictures.
I feel like I need to interject here and let you all know how obsessed I was with these orange trees. Like, there might still be some rolling around under the seats of our rental car at an Enterprise in San Diego. Give me a break, I've never been to California.
This is another place I need to interject and say that I'm sorry - again - for stealing all the good looking friends. I don't know what to tell you.
OH hey, Chad and Mel? Could you stop being so good looking? It's annoying the people. As in, all the people.
